The last year Lithuanian festival GALAPAGAI took a very right way and still holding on finger on the pulse: this year, July 28-29th they invited plenty of the best electronic, rave and rap, inspiring freaks, catchy DJ’s and the world famous names.
First night at the main stage of the festival will make a gig British icon Charli XCX. She used to appear on stage at the age of 14 and soon after already dived in the rave of London.
Debut album of Charli XCX “True Romance“, inclusive singles “You (Ha Ha Ha)“ and “Nuclear Seasons“, made a fantastic success, and the biggest wave of popularity kicked her in 2013 – 2014, when featuring Icona Pop and Iggy Azalea appeared two amazing singles “I Love It“ and “Fancy“.
Charli XCX is coming to Lithuania to pay back her debt: the singer once before canceled her gig, but since this time she baked not less world hits, took many important awards, and even has been twice nominated for Grammy. GALAPAGAI fest is gonna be superhot, as we know Charli XCX will bring her girls with!
The main headliner of Saturday night is still undercover, but we know it is a reason to wait for it with Belgian drum’n’bass explosives: Netsky Dj Set & Script MC, who certainly refreshed this genre from the very first hits “Alive“, “Puppy“, “Memory Lane“ or the remix of Rusko – “Everyday“.
The last hit RIO killed everything. And we are sure, that will be one of the most energizing gigs on the GALAPAGAI fest.
One more pleasant surprise – a singer Dillon, born in Brazil and living in Germany. Her wonderful melancholy won her some accurate comparisons to Björk or Lykke Li.
Besides, Friday, the 28th of July, on the GALAPAGAI stage will perform fresh wind from Finland – green-hair girl Alma, one of the most perspective hit-machine in the North Europe for this day, who has a contract with „Universal Music“ in her pocket since the last year.
And, ladies and gentleman, there is one more MUST SEE guy from Estonia – Tommy Cash, kind of sarcastic asshole, who brings all his damn talent on the stage and it is not enough to listen to his rap – he must be seen (as in this video, where he is stucking between two female down cheeks.
Organizers tells, there was a fight because of this performer with some other fests, but they proudly won it.
Next point at the Friday disco – the night party at the Circus tent with “Despotin Beat Club“ and their friend from Portugal, Lisbon – DJ Branko, who used to work with Zebra Katz, Roses Gabor, Dominique Young Unique and Njena Redfoxx.
Saturday night will repeat a great tradition of this fest – NEONKES disco, made by the residents of famous Vilnius club “Opium”. A program is connected to much body colors and neon lights. The main guest of the disco – DJ KIDEKO from United Kingdom.
