About the Festival

Galapagai festival is a vibrant and diverse music and entertainment festival that brings people together to celebrate live music and an active lifestyle. The fact that it has been taking place annually since 2011 suggests a strong and enduring community around the event.

The location on Zarasas lake island adds a picturesque element to the festival, providing a beautiful backdrop for the various activities and performances. With five stages, there seems to be a rich variety of musical genres represented, catering to a broad range of tastes.

The inclusion of sports competitions and extreme shows adds an extra layer of excitement and energy to the festival, creating an immersive experience for attendees. It’s interesting to note that Galapagai goes beyond just music and entertainment by contributing to social initiatives, such as the traditional race of dogs and their owners, which supports homeless animals. This reflects a commitment to using the festival platform for positive social impact.

Overall, Galapagai seems like a well-rounded event that offers a mix of music, entertainment, sports, and social responsibility, creating a memorable experience for all who attend.

It is the only festival in Lithuania that is involved in the European Talent Exchange Program (ETEP) and has been nominated as the best festival in the category of small European festivals, for a few years in a row.

The participants of the Festival:

2023 – SIGMA DJ Set (UK), Röyksopp DJ Set (NO), G&G Sindikatas, ba., Vaidas Baumila, Solo Ansamblis, July Jones (SI), Kamanių Šilelis, 8 Kambarys, FC Baseball, Evgenya Redko, Sisters On Wire, Konstantinas Lilas, Kamanių Šilelis, Beatrich, Rūta MUR, Gamka, Baltic Balkan, AISTÈ, Despotin Fam, Alekna, Ade, Pijus Opera, Kamuza, Meandi, Girių dvasios, be4 u ask, COMEDY LINE UP: Nedas Zimantas, Žilvinas Kerbelis, Evaldas Jasaitis, Antanas Sadauskas, Airidas Jankus, Viktoras Balykov, Emilis Jokūbas, Mantas Patarakas, Vanilla Killa B, Tomaš Rynkevič

2022 – Andrius Mamontovas, G&G Sindikatas, FC Baseball, Saulės Kliošas, Evgenya Redko, Sisters on Wire, Monika Linkytė, Despotin Fam, Flash Voyage, jauti, Gabrielė Vilkickyt, Gamka, Rūta MUR, Lukas Pilkauskas, Happyendless, Shkema, Wolg, Baltic Champions, Sandjay, Seven Tension, Samanta, Jogaila, Ž, STAND UP: Airidas Jankus, Mantas Grimalis, Viktoras Balykov, Markas Žukauskas, Henry Match, Emilis Jokūbas, Vanilla Killa B, Mantas Patarakas, Evaldas Jasaitis, Antanas Sadauskas

2019 – Dub Fx (AU), TOMM¥ €A$H (EE), Rusko (UK), Jazzu (LT), G&G Sindikatas (LT), Lilas ir Innomine (LT), Daddy Was A Milkman (LT), 8 Kambarys (LT), Vidas Bareikis (LT), ba.
